Conan The Barbarian Extended Cut Blu-ray (BD25)  21.6 GB's

Does anybody know which version they have on Vudu? I only bring it up because apparently The Outsiders, The Warriors, Kingdom of Heaven, Stripes and Miami Vice are theatrical versions, in contrast to their respective blu-rays.

I keep hearing The Warriors theatrical is out there, but nobody can tell me for sure, or if it's got the original mono.

There's a nice HD (720p and 1080p) capture available on AMPS. I'm not sure if it has the original monomix, but it's definitely a capture of the theatrical cut.

Shoot me a PM if you want it, but you're not interested in joining.

A picture is worth a thousand words. Post 102 is worth more.

I’m late to the party, but I think this is the best song. Enjoy!

We would like to get a hold of this "nice HD (1080p capture".

I'm trying to send you a PM, but it says I have to be on your friends list.

JEDIT: I sent the PM to You_Too and told him to forward it to you.

Thanks, I got it, I am a little worried about the not being able to IVTC it properly though, I wonder what method he tried? it definitely needs to be 23.976 fps, and the file size is pretty small lol, I am also looking into another source as well, but really all that is needed is the scenes, the BD can be the source, but I am getting ahead of myself now lol.

Thanks again

Doesn't look like The Warriors is on Vudu anymore.

Right now the only way to get it is with their weird disc-to-digital upgrade thing. (You put the DVD in your computer, the vudu app verifies that you own it and then you can get the HD version for 5 bucks.) I don't have my copy of CONAN anymore that's why I was wondering if anyone else tried this.

I completely agree. The end text shouldn't have been changed. Other than that I really prefer the extended cut. The princess is a very mysterious character that we see way too little of in the theatrical cut. Actually, a while ago I read a bit about the making of the film and they even shot a scene in one of the cities where Conan and Subotai met the princess. It would be nice to see all those deleted scenes sometime. I found a few on youtube but not that one.

I wasn't aware of this scene until I had a look at the Conan The Barbarian Movie Adaptation, Marvel Super Special 21. Lots of interviews and fun stuff in there too.

Look what just popped up for sale-

Thanks to the link provided by dark_jedi a while ago I was able to download both the Theatrical and extended cut versions of this project, but before I could find the time to watch them, the Hard Drive I stored them on corrupted, and unfortunately lost them both.

Wondering if anyone might consider sharing them with me again, I would be be willing to upload them on my seedbox to share with others.

Thanks

Hi, sorry about the belated reply but I only just saw this.

I am willing to fix somebody up with these movies as long as they are willing (and able!) to share them with the community.

If I can burn a single copy of each disc and mail them to somebody (at my own expense), safe in the knowledge that others will benefit, then I will gladly do so. Because I'm a nice guy, see?

Sadly, I cannot help out with individual requests.

So, feel free to PM me to get things rolling.

Does anyone here have checksums or the original torrent file from MySpleen? I was able to pull the US theatrical release off of an old HDD and I want to make sure no errors occurred during the transfer. Thanks.

I really need this before I feel comfortable sharing this with people. I don't want to pass along 50GiB of corrupted data.

I think I have the original torrent file from myspleen, AntcuFaalb. I had to search an old laptop. I think it is CTB82USTC_TB.torrent (I assume for the Conan The Barbarian 1982 US Theatrical Cut). I will PM you with the file to not clog up this thread. Pretty sure I have NOTLD too.

Are there alternative methods of downloading the films?
