I'd say our chances are better than ever of getting the OUT. Everyone at Lucasfilm has been on a heavy old school kick ever since the change over.

Abrams has been going heavy on the old school techniques, shooting on film, relying on practical creatures, etc. While the gang working on Rebels has been contacting people who worked on the original film to ask them about their methodologies. Contacting the guy who did the original rotoscoping of the lightsabers and the original set dresser, etc.

The emphasis has been heavy on doing everything the old school way and I think that bodes incredibly well for the future of the OUT.
