Doing it isn't the problem.
Feeling the need to is indicative of a problem worthy of greater contemplation.
There is is a you in there that clearly wants out. I personally can't blame it, it's stuck in the head of someone contemplating it's murder.
That's why I think the best course of action isn't suicide but renewal.
If you were dead set on death you wouldn't call for assistance, clearly you desire more options.
Your GP is also potentially useful. It could just be a chemical imbalance.
