I decided to start this thread because there were a lot of complaints about spoilers in the other thread and I have trouble talking about episodes or movies without giving way spoilers.
Please only read this thread if you are up to date on the latest episodes and movies in the Marvel universe or you don't mind spoilers.
Okay here are my thoughts on the season final of Agents of Shield.
Now that is how you end a Season! I have to say I have been getting a little tired of seeing Tv shows end with either teams broken up or it looking like everyone is going to die. It was fresh and neat when it was done back when I was a kid with episodes like The best of Both Worlds, but lately it has started to feel tired and as if it is only being done because networks don't think we will tune in next year without a cliffhanger. I was very happy with this episode,it resolved all the major story points from this season while setting up next year's story points.
I loved ever second and I am so glad they didn't whitewash over what Ward did and it will be interesting to see what they do with Deathlock. Unlike Ward he knows that what he did was wrong so he is going to be wracked with guilt.
All in all I think that was my favorite hour of Tv this season and I can not wait for the next season.
I wonder if this means Nick Furry is out of the films for good or if we will see him again at some point. I didn't pay attention to the credits so his showing up shocked me. I am so glad Fitz was okay,as I said he and Simmons are my favorite characters.
Oh and was I the only one who was happy to see Coulson get his hands on the Lokibuster again(I can't think of a better name for that gun)?
Also seeing Geret trying to give Mike orders after Skye saved his son reminded me of Davros stupidly thinking the Daleks would still obey him at the end of Genesis of the Daleks, that was just a great moment.
I can't believe I have to wait for the fall to see the next episode, this sucks:)
Okay, they seem to be dropping hints that Fitz will not be in season two,I hope that isn't true and that they let the character recover because he was my favorite. It can be as long and painful as the writers want as long as they have him in the show and just don't drop him. If he is in season two i hope that don't pull this thing of having him tell Simmons how he feels and then have him not remember it due to brain damage. That always bugs me when they do that one Tv. What is the point of showing an event if you are going to use brain damage or time travel to have everyone act like it didn't happen. Revelations like that should have some impact on the characters and their stories,if the writers don't want to play them out that is fine but then they shouldn't write them into the show in the first place.
Any way I just wanted to say that is my biggest worry about season two, that my favorite character will not be in it. I can't believe I have to wait until the fall to see what is going to happen.
What did you think of the season final or anything else in the Marvel movie universe?
