I have been sitting on these Discs and they keep piling up lol, these are our test Discs, these are the finals, so I am trying to figure out what to do with them, a contest or something perhaps, I really don't have any ideas, so to those that do really like what we do, and like our product, please help me come up with some kind of deal here for some lucky supporter to receive all these titles at once, now as you can see it is not all of them, but it is most, hell 1 title in there you guys were not even aware of, You_Too and I just finished this one last week lol, it is Nurse 3D, but this version is Nurse 2D Uncensored, we restored the 2 Katrina Bowden(Danni) nude Shower scenes back into the BD, on the retail BD release she is showering with her panties on lol.

Well anyways as you can see from the pics these are all hand written Discs, they were testers, so if they were bad they went right into the garbage can, this is why all are hand written, so hopefully we can come up with something good and someone can take all these off my desk.

How about members throw one suggestion for future Team Blu projects in the hat and the best sounding idea that you think could possibly sit on Team Blu's 'to do list' wins the discs?

Hi Dark_Jedi,

Quite a cool selection! :) What about a simple "raffle"?  Anyone who is interested (like me ;P ) in the discs submits their username and you write them down, put them on paper, and pick out a name from a hat. The winner has to paypal you for shipping, of course. Or, you could give the discs to someone on the forum who has donated to your projects in the past.

Just a thought! :)

P.S. Nurse 2 Uncensored? Yum! :P

How about a competition where you say publishing year on your next project (not star wars related) And we must then see if we can guess it, maybe with a few hints would help. Actor, genres, directors.

The winner would then be found when you release the project.

Maybe you just pick someone randomly who helped with one of your projects in some kind (helpful suggestions, donations, ressources) also the winner, and recipient (if he agree to take them) should have to pay the shipping..

How about have a contest to see who can guess how many hours the team has spent on making all the BD releases?  The winner pays for the shipping.

Out of curiosity would Team Blue ever work on a 3d preservation project?  Perhaps to a big name horror franchise sequel that has never had an official 3D release, only lousy anaglyph (blue/red) 3d?  Perhaps if said file could be provided to them in ready to go side by side format?  Just curious if you folks have the equipment to enjoy a release like that.

As for the tester disks... Perhaps some sort of online scavenger hunt to answer some riddle you present us with?  Or even a pictionary style drawing/assembly of images where we guess the film/thing being presented.

I agree with MrBrown, but maybe with a slight tweak in that you ask the loyal supporters if they want to be entered in to a drawing then  go with a random number generator.  You could even raffle off each one separately if you wanted to spread out the love.  I also agree that the winner(s) should pay shipping (in fact this would be a necessity if you go with the splitting up method).

Why don't you just take volunteer signups for the discs, at least one per participant, the task being to host/seed them for a month or more after receipt? That way it ends up being a constructive endeavor (ie. everyone can benefit), as well as a fun one. I kinda dig that idea.

Maybe you could send them to people who provide useful extra feature items for your upcoming projects?

Nope. Not really. But I just wanted to say that I love that movie. I'm looking at a framed vintage MO poster as I type and have a MO t-shirt around here, somewhere...

Dunno what your great idea for the music is but I know that the Anchor Bay DVD actually used the version of "You Shook Me All Night Long" from the movie for its menu. I think it plays in its entirety. For some reason, the 'Who Made Who' soundtrack album just used the 'Back in Black' cut so the DVD is the only source for that version that I know of.

Oh, and Fangoria #56 had an article on the film - but I'm guessing you already knew that.

EDIT: Just thought of something! In the extras on the AC/DC LIVE AT DONINGTON blu ray, the Young brothers talk about (audio only) meeting Stephen King for the first time and agreeing to do the soundtrack to the movie. Lemme know if you need it.

We could always start a Kickstarter to fund a donation to a professional thief who can break into Stephen King's vault and procure his uncut print of MO.

But I guess short of that.. are there any pics (from Fangoria and the like) of the cut gore out there (the way there is of the cut gore from ANGEL HEART)?

PS: here are a few links (right click on images to see in full size):

Don't know how it looks, but amazon is offering it in HD for $3.99.  Pulp Video in Italy has also released it on blu-ray (on amazon.it for E11.10).

I have it.. it's not bad.  It's a bit too bright (could be darkened and maybe have a bit of a color boost), but at least it is in true HD.  CAT'S EYE looks much better.

LINK REMOVED. Read the rules please!

Do you have the Fangoria #56? and I would like that audio file you have from the LIVE blu-ray if you can rip it, what form is it in?

I actually never knew there was 2 versions of that song You Shook Me All Night Long, now I will have to see\hear what the differences are lol.

Thanks

I'm sure it's of little to no use for you, but if you're interested I have a 1080i rip of the film (Maximum Overdrive) I'd be happy to share if you are interested in it.  I recorded it off of Epix HD, so there are a few instances of channel logos which show up for a few seconds, but nothing terribly intrusive and nothing that couldn't be removed I'm sure.  I ripped it using a Haupage Capture Device at maximum bitrate (13mb/sec) to .m2ts format.  It clocks in around 9.4gb.  To be perfectly honest I think it's nothing more than the DVD upscaled, but if you're interested I'd leave that for you to judge.

Thanks but we have all the sources we need and the video is almost finished and about ready to encode.

Yep, I own that issue of Fango but I also have it in .cbr format which I've uploaded here: http://www.sendspace.com/file/h2jk5p

Lemme know if it doesn't suffice.

I can rip that audio file from the AC/DC blu ray but I don't have it on me at the moment and I'm going away to work for a week in the morning. Happy to do it when I get back, though.

Here's the alternate MO version of 'You Shook Me All Night Long':

Okay, I got my AC/DC bluey back today afterall and extracted that file.

When you watch it on the disc, you just get a gallery of all their albums which are selectable and, when done so, play the relevant sound bite - so only the audio is really of any use. Anyway, here's the 'Who Made Who' bit (which is a healthy 5 minutes - some album reflections only last 30 seconds) in its native AC3 format:

Thanks for those files Griff, and I finally heard that version of You Shook Me last night and to me and it seems a lot of people online, that versions sounds terrible lol, so I will stick to the lossless version from the CD, but that interview is pretty cool, we will definitely try and add that in for sure, just need to figure out what to show in the background.

By any chance do you have a scanner? just in case these images are to small I would love to get the pages scanned at a much higher rez if possible, all that is needed is obviously the pages that contain the article and also the front cover, now this would be sweet.

Thanks again
