OK, I don't have much for you guys for May the 4th but some of you will be pleased to hear that v2.5 is now available as a DVD9 AVCHD (to be found at the usual place).

Here's the NFO:

The AVCHD version contains the latest versions of the preservations
of the original audio mixes  (the original  70mm six-track was recreated by hairy_hen,  the original stereo mix was captured from
LaserDisc PCM and fixed up  by hairy_hen and the original mono mix was restored  by  Belbucus from a VHS recording),  an isolated
score (also hairy_hen's latest version) and four different commentary tracks.

That's great news Harmy.
I'm interested; however it seems n00bs cannot Search that usual place.
Any old-timer could send me a URL to that thread?
I'd post it on usenet to show my gratitude...

Thanks Chew-- it'll take me a day or three to get and post it.

So where is the usual place that this is posted? I know I should probably just be patient and wait for it to come on the Spleen or UseNet but I've been waiting for this for a long time and I'm just so excited for it!

The first post helps us find the 37-segment, 18-GB MKV file. I'm looking for the DVD9 ISO  of the AVCHD version 2.5 mentioned in post 11877. Any hints available?

I've been scouring this thread and searching like a wild-man, but having no luck. I've got the MKV file; can someone tell me the easiest way to put this on Blu-ray to play on a PS3?

I've got tsMuxeR and imgburn and a BD-R burner.

Yeah--from what I've seen, it looks like getting one's hands on a myspleen registration invitation is almost as hard as the work you did in CREATING these files. That's the brick wall I'm up against. Any pointers to getting registered? Now that Demonoid is back up, any chance of it appearing there? (That's where I found the earlier versions).

EDIT: a HUGE thanks to the kind person who sent me a myspleen invite! It's great to avoid the flaming hoops.

Right now it's only on tehparadox. I don't know if someone'll upload it somewhere else.

Thanks, getting the pieces now. Assuming all goes well, I'll see if i can torrent it on Demonoid.

As much as I love (i.e. don't) reading the requests for myspleen invites, my favorite (i.e. least) recent poster has to be the guy who posted in this thread asking why there wasn't a search box to find negative 1's thread.

Got it off the spleen, thanks for the transfer! Great to have the latest version in a burnable format.
