Cxe5 mate
I thought I'd be mated this turn.
So, what next? Meticulous Mashers vs. the NNs?
Or Nutty Knights vs. Fabulous FIDEs?
I'd prefer the Remarkable Rookies, and either against the Nutty Knights or the Colorbound Clobberers. I kind of want to try out all the "standard" armies before trying one like the Mashers, which hasn't been playtested as well as the CCs, NNs, RRs, or FFs. But you know, you may prefer a different combination than I suggested. Why don't you pick the teams this time, as well as color and who plays what team? :)
How about Remarkable Rookies as white, and Forward FIDEs as black? You go first.
Sounds like a plan.
The Nutty Knights were cooler than I expected. I enjoy the uniqueness of the knight move, and to have it so available was kind of fun. You may want to try it out some time.
The Remarkable Rookies seem interesting. They look a little challenging considering the lack of diagonal moves, because as you probably know, orthogonal moves are more easily hemmed in by a full board of pawns. But some of them jump, so it shouldn't be too bad I suppose.

The knights were interesting in the way they could block diagonals. You were able to very effectively trap my bede because of that, and when coordinated with a rook-like piece, it worked very well for you. I think that's my favourite army so far.

I guess I should have taken a closer look at that piece's move. I thought it could only go up to two squares forward.

You may take back that move, as well as the previous. If not, HD-a8
