I wish Marvel could get a hold of the rights to Spiderman and the Fantastic Four and but them in the MCU,because I would love to see what they would do with them there.

I wish they would too, just saw The Amazing Spider-man 2 and it wasn't so amazing, I have to say it was probably worse than the first one.

The movie was a cringe-fest

Sky is re-running the Sam Raimi films (which I enjoyed, apart from 3 at the time), and they now are not that great, I think its the winning formula of how these movies should be made by Marvel studios thats effecting my judgement.

Yeah I didn't really care for TAS. I wanted to like it but it was just trying way too hard to be Spiderman Begins.  Also Peter went out of his way to show way too many people he was Spiderman,I have to wonder what the point of the mask even is.  I mean everyone who goes to his school must know he is Spiderman.

I can still watch the first two Rami movies because I think he got the tone right, they were set in a cheesy world so i can over look the things that didn't make perfect sense. You lose that once you go the BB route and make everything serous, set it in the real world, and add so much brooding.  Now you can go to far the other way too and you end up with Spiderman 3 and Batman and Robin. I have no problem with people liking the new Spiderman movies but the first one was not my cup of tea and I don't plan on seeing the second one any time soon.  I may rent it at some point but I don't think I will go out of my way to see it.
