The IAS's purpose is "To unite, advance, support and protect the Scientology religion and Scientologists in all parts of the world, so as to achieve the aims of Scientology as originated by L. The IAS achieves their purpose by holding fundraisers in every major Scientology organization throughout the year. They do small fundraisers once a month and BIG ones about five times a year.
