the titles on the forum?!

I was wondering if anyone could tell me what the requirements are for the titles? If it goes like other forums then its by the number of posts. This makes sense to me, but some people have customized titles, I was wondering how this works?

ok this is how it works

at 250: ready for the trials
1000 jedi knight
2000 jedi master
5000 jedi concil member
10000 jedi spirit

for ppl like dyav and rrs who have different titles, there was a game when the forums started where the winners go to choose there own titles. it game occured b4 my tiem so i dont knwo what it was.

Oh, I think this was my biggest curiousity. Maybe we can get the forum to play another game and get a new round of custom titles.

Its a silly thing to be worried about. It probobly takes time and what not. Im not too desperate for a custom title...hehe.

there you go. you know what would be cool to have a title for each of the spots on the top 10. and maybe have different ones for the top 5.

When the forum first started, the levels were pretty low. Until Dayv, Gundark, Luke, Motti, and I came along and started posting like mad. Jay had to up the numbers so we wouldn't run through all the levels too quickly. Then, we had him add in the Jedi Spirit level just about half a year ago as the "ultimate goal" on this thread. I'm not sure if any of us really thought it to be attainable. Motti and I have proven otherwise, though.

I e-mailed Jay about a week ago, asking about an icon change, and havent gotten anything back yet. Anyone know about how long it takes, since im sure he is busy, and im just curious.

Just wondering. BTW, it would be really cool if after a certain number of posts you got to pick your own title. I wonder if we should move that over into the suggestions area?

Lethe, check out the icons menu on the profile settings, Jay might have inserted it there. When I sent it to Jay he didn't reply my e-mail nor did he change my icon for me, he simply added the image I sent him to the icons that already existed on this forum.

usually he will wait til he had to add 5 or 6 then will add them all jsut be patent
