I'd send them to you if your friend list wasn't blocking me!

Great covers! And I really like the disc labels. They're your covers of course Ibut I personally wouldn't call the DeEd the ultimate HD restoration, because it's quite far from it :-)

Oh but sir, you are too modest! ;>

No no, just realistic. I'm proud of what I did in v2.5 but it is far from ultimate :-)

Well.. fair enough, I suppose.

You sure? It's still saying you only allow PMs from friends.

Hmm it hadn't saved the updated prefs for some reason - probably my fault!

Sorry, should be fine now (he said - crossing eveything!).

It worked - you should have a link now.

Thanks ever so much, and sorry for the messaging problems.

These are fantastic - always had a soft spot for the '92 VHS covers and these really look 100% authentic. Definitely my covers of choice now for Harmy's outstanding re-creations ;)

Cheers :)

Sure, I can give it a shot. I may have trouble finding decent quality shots to work from though - is there a borderless version of Drew's posters around anywhere?

I will see if I have some for you to start with.

I'm finished with my OT covers.

I updated the back cover of "Star Wars" (aka. "A New Hope") to have a paragraph break where the original version was missing one.

Also, the ROTJ cover is done, with Yoda and Chewie on the back. I could have put Vader, but then he'd be the only bad guy; and really Chewie does play a big role in the Trilogy (especially by providing the key turning point of the ground campaign at the Battle of Endor). Albeit, his character is usually overshadowed by Han.

I'm going to include .psd versions of the files for anyone who wants to make personal edits (such as adding "Episode IV" and "A New Hope" to the Star Wars cover and "V"/"VI" to the ESB/ROTJ spines, or else changing the Harmy credit to Adywan or something.)

There /are/ roman numerals on the spines and other such things like that in the PSDs, but their layers are just hidden in favor of the covers being used for Harmy's edition.A

Also, for anyone who cares (and for myself for future reference) the font used for my crawl is called "Franklin Gothic Medium Condensed" and the font for the text on the spine is called "Trajan Pro".

All these covers are awesome, but I think if I was doing them I would want something like the original movie posters. Just to keep the ambiguity and be spoiler-free, in case anyone hasn't seen the movies yet (and there are a few of them out there!)

Amazing work on those covers. The design is just brilliant.

Just some small things: The size and position of the movie title changes slightly between Empire and Jedi. You might want to change that although I'm pretty sure you wouldn't even see the difference when printed.
And the actor names are a little hard to read with those white lines, but that's no big deal either.

And since you mentioned adding Vader: You could replace Obi-Wan with Leia, Leia with Vader and Chewie with the Emperor. That way Vader wouldn't be the only villain, but you'd loose some of the good characters, so I wouldn't actually change it. But I thought I'd mention it anyway.
