I am eagerly anticipating his reply to that post Regicidal. Thats a lot more direct than most have been, so im not sure he can just rhetoric his way out...time will tell.
I do agree with you that the matter of when life begins (conception vs. birth vs. some point between) isnt settled. Most likely it wont be settled on this board

. Jimbo, I really challenge you to offer proof that life begins at conception. Im not going to be an asshole about this, I just want to know what your justification is for that claim/stance/belief.

Id also venture to say that its incredibly naive to think that oil has nothing to do with the War in Iraq. Im not saying its the only reason, or even the main reason - its just not logical to deny its significance. I mean, why did we bail Kuwait out in the early 90's? You think that it might have had something to do with Saddam's forces torching vital oil fields? We have always had a vested interest in the middle east, and when that interest is threatened we get involved. And hey, if we get to knock around an insane dictator in the process why not? (I dont really know how to make sure that gets across as sarcastically as possible, a wink doesnt seem like enough).
