Just because I believe that employers can dictate your behavior, doesn't mean your oppressed. You CHOOSE to work for who you work for, the United States Government perhaps, you then CHOOSE to obey or disobey the rules laid out to you. You can CHOOSE to not work for that employer and live however you want to live.
I guess I'm oppressed as well. I'm an alcoholic, I didn't choose to be, I was born with it. And yet, my work WILL NOT allow me to drink on duty or discuss my political or religious beliefs in in public. So, I'm oppressed as well I reckon. They even make me wear a certain uniform with certain symbols on it, I can't have a cross pin on it, I'm oppressed! They force me into all kinds of training and such that I feel I don't need, I'm oppressed! You know, they even insist that I record my every action on video and then write, in detail, why I did what I did even though it's on video, I'm oppressed!

Why even haves rules or a civil society, let's just go full on anarchy so that nobody is oppressed, perhaps except for the oppression that roving hordes of thieves, rapists, and murderers inflict seeing as how they always take over in anarchy.

Naturally I refer to places like Russia and Uganda (situations aggravated by American evangelists with access to the internet and airplanes).
I am a human being I live on the same planet and I too move around it as do ideas.
That fascism idea spread rather quickly too as I recall as did Islamism to formally moderate Muslim states and former secular states. So yes I do have a vested interest in keeping the wolf of Biblical sanction away from my door.
I have also been in the past subject to repressive laws which have been repealed against the protest of Bible fans and subject to physical attack in my own country so there is the potential for laws of that kind to take hold nearer my door.
Run ins with Warb and others have been in general discussion and also in the context of international affairs. He is upset that I mock the text that the oppression in other countries and the attempts at it here are based on. I argue he isn't the sort of person who would stone someone to death but endorses a text on which those actions are based.
He is very protective of the whole text selectively (when it suits his paranoid fantasy that I am out to get him) but also rejects chunks periodically (when he wishes to express his anger about his paranoid fantasy that I'm out to get him).
Naturally I am addressing the subject here (as well as everywhere else it emerges) because of all the subjects on this thread I am the only user member to be listed. I have every right to defend myself against these bizarre outbursts and I will continue to do so.
I would prefer to talk about other subjects but other people keep stirring the pot.
To equate homosexuality (an attraction to one thing over another) with a chemical addiction is such a stir but I've had it compared to child rape, motor vehicle theft and Gods knows what else on these boards so clearly the great liberal utopia people seem to think exists for homosexuals is as much a myth as the Garden of Eden.
