Quoting myself here ...... this was taken out of context because it was in a post I made dealing with the question of a 100% positive genetic link to homosexuality.

I personally have NO idea whether people who are gay or straight are genetically disposed to be that way. That being said, I have no problem with how people chose to live. Since I don't see any need to reaffirm my straightness I don't see a need for gay people to do the same. We ALL bleed red. We ALL have our own problems. We ALL are people and that is the way I see it. When people paraphrase and analyze stuff you've said I don't believe they are using enough information to back their suppositions.

The internet is cold enough without having others judge you by something taken out of context and it does nothing but make matters worse.

You seem to be equating non-genetically determined behaviour with choice.

I didn't chose to be homosexual it's not a life-style option. I gave heterosexual sex a try but it didn't turn me heterosexual. I identify myself as homosexual and yet I very rarely have sex due to my ethical decision to remain faithful in a monogamous and largely sexless relationship.

This branch of the gaybate came from Warb equating his choice of religion with my allocated sexual preference.

What ever the determining factor for those sexual preferences are (genetic, in vivo chemisty, voodoo curse, alien abduction etc) choice was not one of them so the parallel falls flat.
