Warb you do no that being homosexual isn't a life choice? You can chose to act on it if the circumstances allow or not but you can't look at a brochure and decide homosexuality is for you because it matches the curtains or something.

Being a Christian requires active decisions. To read and attempt to understand the Bible and it's history, to be part of a community of people who do the same thing, to understand the rules of that community and decide if they balance with your faith or if they no longer make sense or if they are too difficult or inconvenient to stick to.

Being Homosexual has no rule book, no fixed community, no fixed etiquette but like all forms of sexuality aspects of it are kind of undignified if you decontextualise it.

There are certain stupid homosexuals, just as there are stupid Christians. There are probably less stupid gays because there are less gays than Christians.

I think my homosexuality is stupid as I have to constantly defend it while my ethical decisions (deciding to opt into two monogamous relationships spanning two decades)  has meant I hardly get to indulge it other than in the gap years.

I love the Stooges too. It's a shame their humour was almost entirely physical as it's almost impossible to reference it here. I must confess to being more of a brothers Marx fan...Karl leaves me in stitches :-D
