The ViewHD 1x2 that was shipped to me from J&R Galaxies on March 11th seems to remove HDCP. It looks like people are having issues with the 1x4 and maybe 1x8 that are available from he same Amazon page (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004F9LVXC/)

I did manage to hook up my PS4 to an old Eizo Flexscan L557 LCD monitor from 2004 just using a hdmi to dvi cable from the splitter and play games and blu-rays. Without the splitter I couldn't even get the PS4 boot logo.

This doesn't guarantee that the ones they got in stock now will work of course...
