Ah, but you assume that the young trio will all be blood related. I can see that not being the case for all three.

Say for example that Luke hasn't had any children because he's been so busy restarting the jedi order/setting up some sort of academy. He could have adopted a force sensitive as his son/daughter to teach the ways of the force. The other two in the trio could be the children of Leia and Han, with perhaps one being force sensitive and the other not, to add an extra dynamic of jealousy/resentment there. Both siblings are vying for the attention of the adopted son/daughter of Luke, so you have a love triangle without any sort of incest.

Hell, considering how much Disney like their Princess movies and how successful the sister dynamic in Frozen has been, we could even get two sisters fighting over the adopted son of Luke haha that'd be a turn for the books, a two girl/one boy trio dynamic. Could be a way to put an interesting new spin on things, instead of having two guys fighting for the attention of one girl as per usual.
