My pc is currently in the middle of encoding a new higher bitrate version of my regraded fellowship of the ring extended edition release with improved colours, I'm using my uncalibrated laptop right now so I can't comment on your video or screen comparison. If you're willing to wait until tomorrow i'll be able to give you my thoughts.

I did go through the waterworld blu-ray though yesterday before I started encoding. Its a very inconsistent transfer colourwise and very tricky to regrade with one setting and get a good balance

After much experimentation I came up with settings that look nice across the whole film IMHO, retaining the warmth of the sun when they're at sea (which is very important to me because the sun plays a very important part in this film) while removing the red tint and getting fleshtones as natural as possible. Fleshtones are a big problem in this release, they are far too red and far too saturated, so they needed to be selectively regraded.

Have you also addressed the fleshtones problem with your settings? Could you post a clip where we can see the fleshtones of some of the main characters so I can give you feedback on that aspect of the regrade as well?
