Sounds wonderful. I really like some of your choices in your edits. I always preferred the pink bear reveal as it was perfect, and... "if it aint broke don't fix it!" :-)
There are good and bad parts to both cuts, which is why I suppose it makes sense to take the strengths of each and utilise them accordingly.
