Does anyone here have hi-res concept art by Ralph McQuarrie for The Empire Strikes Back? Even if you have books with nice big illustrations that could be scanned.

Wow, great project idea. I'm sure there will be some high rez copies in existence somewhere, but if not I'm happy to weigh in with some scans from the Art of ESB.
Does your friend plan to do a frame-by-frame rebuild of the 'venetian blind' transition, or just a close-enough stock effect?

He's pretty darn good at recreating from a trailer. So yeah i'm sure he will rebuild of the 'venetian blind' transition him self.
If you have scans i would definitely love to get them for him.
The trailer will of course be shared for everyone to enjoy.
