Otherwise there would be 8 discs. I'm I right on this or just very confused? I understood the 4th TR47 disc to be the Definitive Collection bonus material, and the other 3 discs in the 7 disc set to be additional bonus material. If I'm wrong about this I'd appreciate you clearing that up. Thanks.

It's not the same, but similiar. I made 4 bonus discs specifically to compliment the TR47 trilogy. My fourth bonus disc differs from the one TR47 was originally distributing (but he has it now). His original supplemental fourth disc was meant to go with the Dr. Gonzo trilogy that has the commentary track included on the movie discs. This bonus disc included 9 trailers for all three films and all of the supplementary material from the Definitive Collection.

MY fourth disc has the same material, but omits the 9 trailers (as there 14 on my other 3 discs) and includes all of the commentary scenes from all three films that the TR47 trilogy did not include.

Here's the detailed list:

Disc 1 - Star Wars Bonus Material:
-The Making of Star Wars (1977) 50 min.
-4 SW trailers
-"The Moments We'll Always Remember" (30 sec. The Simpsons promo. Bart blows up the Death Star)
-2 deleted Biggs scenes
-Alternate Cantina scene
-3 original audition clips from 1975 featuring Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, and Harrison Ford
-Carrie Fisher as Princess Leia on Saturday Night Live clip (1978)
-TROOPS (featuring the original "Bad Boys" theme that is not on the Total Movie DVD)
-"That 70's Show" Star Wars episode

Disc 2 - The Empire Strikes Back Bonus Material:
-SP FX: The Empire Strikes Back (1980) 50 min.
-4 TESB trailers
-Harrison Ford, Anthony Daniels, Carrie Fisher, Billie Dee Williams interviews (1980)
-Underoos TV Commercial featuring Boba Fett 30 sec.
-THX demonstration short, "WOW!"
-THX sound editing demonstration short, "Soundtrack!"

Disc 3 - Return of the Jedi Bonus Material:
-Classic Creatures: Return of the Jedi (1983) 50 min.
-From Star Wars to Jedi: The Making of a Saga (1983) 65 min.
-6 ROTJ Trailers (including 2 for "Revenge of the Jedi")

Disc 4 - The Definitive Collection Archive
(All of the supplementary material from the Definitive laserdiscs)
- "War Stories" an interview with the saga creator, George Lucas
- "Sound Advice" an interview with sound designer, Ben Burtt
- "The ABC's of Jedi Effects" an interview with effects supervisor, Dennis Muren
- A guided tour through the Lucasfilm Archives
- "How the Walkers Walk" time-lapse presentation narrated by Dennis Muren
- "A Flight through the Asteroids" story boards to final shot comparison
- Return of the Jedi Videomatics, narrated by Ken Ralston
- The Max Rebo Band's "Lapti Nek" music video
- Concept art slideshow narrated by artist Ralph McQuarrie
- Over fifty scenes from the trilogy with audio commentary by George Lucas, Dennis Muren, Ken Ralston, Ralph McQuarrie, Ben Burtt, and Frank Oz
- Hundreds of behind the scenes and special effects production stills from all three films

Disc 5 - The Star Wars Holiday Special (1978)
GUARANTEED to be the best copy you'll ever see. It was mastered from an original (and WELL PRESERVED) VHS tape recording of the one-time airing in 1978 on CBS. Also included is a one-minute Star Wars toy commercial with the same audio and video quality.
