Wasn't it part of the Ghostbusters story originally, or am I mixing that up with something else?

Big shock. Tough day to be an SCTV or Ghostbusters fan. :(

Ramis was also the voice of one of the stoned out aliens in a segment of the Heavy Metal movie, who snorted a floor covered in "Plutonium Nyborg".

Those are some cool tributes but I'll be very upset if they kill off Egon just because Harold is no longer with us.

RIP Harold.

I don't think the fans would accept anyone else playing the role outside of cartoons and videogames.

I don't think Ghostbusters III is ever going to happen now anyway. And a reboot would be a very cynical cash grab at this point.

Tim Wilson (Comedian)

1961-2014

"The other versions will disappear. Even the 35 million tapes of Star Wars out there won’t last more than 30 or 40 years. A hundred years from now, the only version of the movie that anyone will remember will be the DVD version [of the Special Edition], and you’ll be able to project it on a 20’ by 40’ screen with perfect quality. I think it’s the director’s prerogative, not the studio’s to go back and reinvent a movie." - George Lucas

Yeah, that makes no sense.  Why would they trap him and stick him in a containment grid with ghosts who are causing trouble?

They did send Slimer inside the grid once in the cartoon, so perhaps it's for research? This is the scientist who tried to drill into his own skull we're talking about.

And it would have worked if Peter hadn't stopped him.

One of my fish died, does that count? It was an Indian Glassfish and I won't miss him because there are still five left.

He didn't have a name but I'll call him Bob because he bobbed in the water after he died.

Clint would be a could name for his little stone (considering he was erstwhile the fish with no name).
