What I really love about this project from what I have seen so far, is the fact, that it really looks like 1977 again.

This trailer:

awakens something in me I can't possibly describe.

You really feel the effort George Lucas and the whole crew put into this movie. It does not look like some cheap CGI-flick.

I'm depressed and sometimes even suicidal, but these things really keep me alive.

We agree that our preservation and restoration will be the best one out there that captures the feel of the original movie.

While Harmy's version is a nice recreation, it does not match what the original looked like. Even the technicolor reference is good, but not exact as it has a green cast to it, and depending on your interpretation, can vary in parts.

We have seen the samples provided to him, and we also have our own reference versions of the technicolors to look at also. We find the LPP has its own warmth and color reference that will provide a truer sense to us of one version of Star Wars that can't be captured with other means.

Also the technicolor versions out there are very beat up, and have lots of damage in them, compared to the relatively light damage to the headers and tails of the LPP.

There might be some comparisons of the two in the future.
