I can't speak for anyone else...oh sorry...yes I can, but speaking personally. I call that being imaginative and creative. Brave, eccentric maybe but weird seems derogatory (like queer used to be until the queers appropriated it).

I think you should try walking around with a lampshade on your head just as a life experience, you could do it for charity and you might look great.

People should challenge their preconceptions once in a while.

I didn't wear jeans until I turned 30 (found out they are comfortable and great for gardening etc).
