He has received a ton of criticism from the LGBT community - not for that, but for going to Russia at all and not being more outspokenly critical of Putin's policies. He definitely marches to the beat of his own drum (plus, he has a Russian husband). I don't think he's a weirdo at all. He's just different. The world would be a richer place if people allowed themselves (and others) more room to be themselves. Oh - I also appreciate that he doesn't talk through the whole performance, but does most of the talking before and after.

I also like the guy doing the color commentary for bobsled. He sounds like Hulk Hogan announcing a wrestling match! But he knows his stuff and he knows a lot about the competitors.
