Hi,
I know there are several Star Wars sourcebooks and RPG-Modules. Which one of them contains originaltrilogy knowledge?
Are there any roleplayers here?

I'm not sure of your question. I loved the West End Games sourcesbooks as a kid and still have several of them. But I'm not sure what you are asking when you wonder which have originaltrilogy knowledge. Do you mind clarifying
And sorry, I never actually have played the RPG. I just loved the books for the immense and interesting lore.

The stance of many on this board is undoubtedly that, unless it's the original films themselves, it's EU (Expanded Universe), not OT. As such, almost everything in those books would not be "originaltrilogy knowledge".
See, that's kind of what I was wondering. I personally really enjoyed the WEG sourcebooks and thought that, while EU, were very faithful to the spirit of the OT. I really loved them. Much of their info is considered outdated today, particularly with the sized of things like the Death Stars and Executor. Nevertheless, they are wonderful reads.
With EU you mean Palpatines Clone and those things? I was looking for background knowledge about ships, planets, troops of the time of OT.

If you want primarily OT stuff, I suggest you only use the first generation series (so not the New Essential Guides). I believe they do contain some EU things, but most of it's from the good EU and doesn't include prequel and post-prequel EU information. My favourite from among them is The Essential Guide to Alien Species. It gives short stories about each species, usually from the perspective of a shape-shifting xenologist, as well as giving a factual description of the species, which makes it interesting to read cover to cover.
