Once the project is complete, would someone be willing to burn all the bonus material to blu-ray discs for me (doesn't matter how many discs it takes, as long as I have everything). I don't have a blu-ray burner so I couldn't do anything with the HD files except play them on my computer.  I will gladly share any rare DVDs and fan edits I have in exchange.

I have never made a BD before, and we are missing the Best Buy disc anyway ... does anyone have it? I mean the actual disc?

Yes. I was including it.

Did you upload yours to MySpleen, as well?

Anyone have experience ripping from CinemaNow? I found someone who's willing to help with the Best Buy content. I've found a couple how-to's, but wondering if anyone has more experience.

No offense but do you guys actually read the threads you post in? Or just post whatever you want.

Hint: page 3.

I saw what you posted, but with the interaction with Oso, hoped maybe you'd perhaps done similar to what he did.

The only hint I found is that you claim to have the disc, but have you uploaded its content anywhere?

I'd rather include the enhanced commentary without having to re-encode it.

Agreed. BTW, do you have the 1080p version of it? Seems to be not the default setting in iTunes...

There is no 1080p version. It's 720p only.

Then you probably should re-read it. I explicitly stated what my plan was.

Is the attitude really necessary? Not everyone is able to spend the time reading through every single page of any/every forum thread on the internet before posting. I'd wager there's probably a thread or two on the interwebs that you haven't read from start-to-finish before posting in. And it doesn't help that the forum is void of search-function and user's-posts abilities.

You could've spent half the time and words reiterating what your answer was, and it would've also had the "bonus" of being a more recent reminder for any newcomers to the thread.

And for what it's worth, Oso has done more for this thread at this point than pretty much anyone else, myself included. I'm not saying that to rag on anyone, of course, I'm just saying -- the guy just put up an entire disc of the thread's puzzle for one and all -- the least you could do is give him a post-# or link to what you said if you're unwilling to reiterate the gist it.

Nothing personal, though.

In the UK only the movie was 1080p, the extras (including the commentary) were only 720p. In Germany the movie was 720p as well. Maybe someone in the US can check if there is a 1080p version of the commentary?

Someone in the comments over at Trekcore claims otherwise: http://trekcore.com/blog/2013/09/into-darkness-exclusives-part-ii-itunes-extras-enhanced-commentary/

corysims

You can get the enhanced commentary in 1080p on ITunes. You just have to set your preferences correctly in the iTunes program.

I saw this .....  "iTunes IMAX 1.78:1 Footage vs. Blu-ray 2.40:1 Footage
(Commentary video available in 720p only)"

Weird .....

I think the comment I quoted was made after the article was written and the screenshots - which are 720p - were taken.

On the other hand, some "guest" answered to that 1080p comment saying they would update the article... weird indeed.

Edit: Well, all other sources I find on Google state that the commentary is 720p only, so I guess that's more reliable than that Trekcore-comment being the only source saying otherwise.

This thread is only 4 pages long. What I wrote was on the last page. Does one really need a search engine for that? ;)

It is 7 pages long for me. And despite reading through ALL the pages again, I couldn't find the hint I was looking for. Maybe it's a simple misunderstanding ... you said:

Maybe what you meant instead is: "Yes. I'm going to include it"? That would make a lot more more sense, since you obviously haven't uploaded anything yet.

It would be nice if you cleared this up before we fill another three pages with this discussion.

7 pages for me, as well. And I second that suggestion.

DFNYC -- you need to hit "refresh" every now and again on the interwebs.

Nope. Your settings are different from mine. I must have more posts displayed per page than you guys.

Regardless, if you're going to be posting in a thread that's only 4 (or 7) pages long, wouldn't you rather be caught up on the progress of said project instead of flailing?

Hey Guys here is a sneak peak at what we are doing, and this will be shared! and it is a jam packed BD50.

^^^^^^

Now that is cool.  I am so hoping any low-grade quality sources were 86'd until better ones were found.  I'm not a huge fan of youtube quality sources as they're usually pretty crappy.

The only extras I have not procured outside the X-Box 360 stuff is the Best Buy Canada bonus disc stuff.  I have the Wal-Mart and Target stuff.

Anyways, I look forward to a well done, well sourced, disc.

It was in jest.  My apologies that I didn't make it more apparent.  :)

Just wanted to mention that using google to search here works pretty darn well if you search as follows:

site: originaltrilogy.com xxx

Where "xxx" is either your search term, or you are looking for porn here.

...

We all know who looks for porn here.

Well, wonderful news.

But will it have also the XBox deleted scenes and stuff?
