Is Blu-ray (DTS-HD and TrueHD) capable of doing discrete front extra channels?
In theory you could just map them to your extra rear channels, and configure your amps and speakers accordingly. This method would be crude, but should be adequate provided one had the 8 stems of audio.
I'd say the chances of this happening are about as good as George doing a sequel to the Holiday Special, this time, with Betty White.
