I loved your edit, and I found it to be one of the best thus far. But it could be better, in my opinion. There are many more tweaks and edits that I would have made in this film, and if I had the skill and money to do so, I might do my own one day, too.

One of the things that I noticed that nobody decided to use was the deleted scene where Sebulba fires one of his sideburners at Anakin.

Instead of having the part break off during the race (which doesn't make sense that the pod engine would work after it did, by the way), why not use the deleted scene where Sebulba fires his sideburner to ignite Anakin's engine? It would explain why the thing is burning up, and why the flame was put out and the engine brought back to work, again.

The other thing I found to be so unlike the way the Jedi would be was how they seemed to be terrified to hear an explosion coming from the docking bay and then frantically igniting their lightsabers after doing so.

Once Sidious informs the Neimoidians on what to do with the Jedi, I would re-arrange the scenes where the gas was pumping in from the vent right after the protocol droid is serving drinks scene instead, and then have the ship explode in the docking bay. The next time you see the Jedi is when the droids open the door. It makes for a more dramatic re-introduction of the lightsaber and a more suspenseful action sequence when you don't know if the Jedi are still alive.

There are a lot more ideas that I would like to post here, but the bottom line is, this was your edit and I'm glad someone like you has the perseverance to keep trying to fix these films.
