Ah crap. As if I hadn't made enough mistakes this game, I moved your king earlier to 5iv. Now looking back, I see you had him on 4iv.
That sucks (for you), but I can't say I'm terribly sorry. ;)
Well, I'll confess to you now that you could have already forced a mate. I thought I'd escaped, but with an error like I just made (thinking my G on 3iv was safe), there's no hope now. At the very least, I would have dropped my last piece as a lance instead of a tokin. That would have prevented this unequal exchange. In any case, instead of duking it out for several more turns, I'd rather declare you the victor and challenge you to find out how you could have forced a mate in the last few moves.
Fair enough. I wouldn't mind playing it out, just to see if you could come back, but if you think it would only drag the game on longer, so be it. I do see a couple ways to checkmate you, which you could delay, if not prevent, but I'm still figuring out how I could have checkmated you in the last few turns.
Meanwhile, congratulations on beating me! You played very well, and I'm happy to see you win. I know I'd made several poor moves, but you took advantage of them and made several good ones, so you should be very proud :)
Thank you! I didn't expect I would until a few turns ago, but I underestimated my chances of winning. When I saw your relatively long post I was sure you had forced a checkmate somehow, but I see that wasn't so. :)
