Guys,

I would have to re-author my disc, since I purchased the Target disc. I assume everyone wants ALL of the unique bonus features on one disc?

Some of us actually prefer quality and have no problem with multiple bonus discs

Same here - df if you're going to do this please go for max quality irrespective of disc count. And as I mentioned/pm'd previously if the enhanced commentary can't fit in without being re-encoded providing it additionally as a separate file would be appreciated! Thanks.

I second this exactly. I prefer quality over quantity, and don't mind extra discs (or even extra files).

Side note -- I still don't understand why a collective "bin" hasn't been put together where all the pieces can be thrown together from the various discs/collections/users. I offered the handful of HD stuff that I had to Billy for his disc, but I've been surprised that there hasn't been anyone else who's offered access to their edition's extras.

If we made a public DropBox or Mega folder, surely we could fairly quickly and easily get a centralized collection of the extras all in one place, no?

I'd happily take just all the raw files at their best quality. Chances are, my TV can play them all straight from an USB drive.

Yes, that would be ideal. Then people could do their own encoding if they wanted to fit it all on one disc.

OK here's the deal.

I've been talking to one of the mods over at videoredo. They seem to have fixed the problem that we all have with the enhanced commentary and will implement a fix in the next official version of the program. I'd rather include the enhanced commentary without having to re-encode it.

Once that happens, I'll throw the other extras on there and upload the whole thing. Deal? Nothing will be re-encoded.

Awesome.

Just found this thread while looking for similar projects.

I'd be interested in sharing but it looks like you already have everything that I do. - at this point I think I have all the featurettes but quality ranges from 1080p to 240p to screen recordings with bad audio.

That said, i haven't finished scouring the likes of Vimeo yet.

I'm mostly interested in deleted scenes [circa 720p] / gag reel type stuff.

Getting back to the Imax stuff, I wonder if it would be much hassle to cut out those sequences / re-sync with the proper surround audio and just present them as a standalone feature.

I own the commentary file so I'd be interested in taking a crack at it if you guys can suggest a quick and simple way of stripping out the DRM.

In all honesty, I be content with a bunch of files in a folder.

And if anybody have English subtitles for some of this exclusive bonuses it would be great what they upload this subs also. For not-English speaking people it would be very useful.

 Sounds great. Thank you.

It's a tremendous hassle. There are a lot of missing frames in the commentary. Additionally, some of the BTS windows obscure footage that can't be comp'ed out with the 1080p version of the film.

I've got a rough version done (I don't think the surround sound is in there), but it's cut together from front to back. It's just impossible to be incomplete unless there were some serious effects genius around these parts.

I agree with this. I'd just drop the raw files in my external media player and play them from there.

I'm flattered, but I'd say Adywan is the real VFX wizard around here :-)

I have the Target Bonus Disc now, and I would love to share the files ... does anyone know where I can upload them?

Or something like DropBox.com or Copy.com for a start.

 DVD or Blu-Ray?

Maybe some torrent tracker?

BluRay. It's 13 parts in total, six of them are on the standard release as well. And there are three trailers.

I'm not quite sure about where to upload this stuff. Is it allowed on MySpleen?

Once the project is complete, would someone be willing to burn all the bonus material to blu-ray discs for me (doesn't matter how many discs it takes, as long as I have everything). I don't have a blu-ray burner so I couldn't do anything with the HD files except play them on my computer.  I will gladly share any rare DVDs and fan edits I have in exchange.

I have never made a BD before, and we are missing the Best Buy disc anyway ... does anyone have it? I mean the actual disc?

Goodness, and just look at that humility, too! :)

Oso -- need any help getting the extras/bonus from bluray->computer->MySpleen?

If you're unfamiliar with the process, I can offer some guidance regarding the workflow (and also how to get it up to MySpleen). It's not too difficult.

IMO, MakeMKV would be best/easiest for getting the extras from bluray->computer. Not only will it quickly and easily put each "extra" into an individual .MKV file, but it'll do so without re-encoding any video, giving lossless individual .MKV's, ripe for the MySpleen'ing :-)

Thanks for the offer, but I think you misunderstood. I have already ripped the Target exclusive special features from the disc and put them on MySpleen. I didn't convert them to mkv though, but left the m2ts files as they were.

What we need now is the Best Buy Bonus Disc ... if there is any. The Best Buy content seemed to be available through streaming only, and some say that they have been on a DVD ... but is there a BluRay as well?

Brilliant! I did misunderstand. I'm posting in the MySpleen thread, asking if anyone might have any leads on the Best Buy disc. Thanks!
