Are there any HD broadcasts that don't come from the Lowry treated versions?
The DVNR was just bizarrely applied in some of the films as if it was done automatically and not scene by scene or frame by frame.
Even more heavily applied on things like the credits or things like optically composite shots.
Some of the films are certainly cleaner and sharper than they originally looked
But i don't think that was the Director's or Cinematographer's intent.
First DVNR scrubbed and then sharpened and re-color timed. Its shit its not the films they made. It may be pleasing to look at but not theatrically accurate.
