Sometimes, it takes a bit.  Now that I've got 1 & 3, finding 2 might be a bit easier.  Hopefully.

I will let you know Bring it On is decoded.

Thank you very much, this is greatly appreciated, and we wish you great luck on RH2, would love to have lossless audio for this baby.

DJ,

I've got a lead on RH2 .... I'll keep you posted.

Now that is music to my ears! this would be great news, thank you and I will keep my fingers crossed.

By the way all this DTS talk just reminded me I have not yet put my DTS LD rip of Mortal Kombat in sync yet, I keep reading this blows away the blu-ray audio and I want to hear the differences now myself.

Is there DTS cinema anywhere for Get Smart (2008)?

Yes, it does blow the Blu Ray audio out of the water! The person's responsible for the anemic remix should be forced to watch MK:Annihilation on a continuous loop. ;)

I think the LD commentary should be preserved too, but synching it might be problematic as they start talking over the DTS trailer before the movie actually starts.

I'd love Mortal Kombat. I have the DTS LD. Love it!

If you decide to upload that DTS LD audio, please let us know.  I would love to sync it to my bluray and give it a spin.

Has anybody come across Cinema DTS of Ridley Scott's 'Gladiator'?

Since there hasn't been any need for a restoration of this film it has not been requested.  When I get audio, it is for project purposes.

Are there issues with Gladiator's audio?

Gladiator on BD has a different color grading than DVD - if the latter is the right one, I'm not sure, though... if it is, then it could worth a restoration... so, a Cinema DTS soundtrack will be a nice addition, don't you think?

Sadly my projects are lost due to an HDD crash… 😦 | [Fundamental Collection] thread | blog.spoRv.com | fan preservation forum: fanres.com

I have "Strange Days" and "Timecop" on DTS laserdisc, and the technology to capture them.  (LDP with S/PDIF output, Audigy 2 ZS with S/PDIF inputs.)  I just haven't hooked it all together yet.

I also have various SUPERBIT DVDs with DTS, but I assume those aren't as rare, and don't have as high a bitrate as the laserdiscs.

 clench,

Welcome to the forum.  This thread is mainly geared towards cinema DTS but I'd bet money we probably have some folks that would be interested in Laserdisc DTS as yet another audio alternative for preservation projects.

Keep and eye out, I'm sure you'll find some takers.

Strange Days would be cool, one of the best mixed 5.1 tracks ever made

How about 'Grindhouse'?

The audio track on the bluray is Dolby Digital 5.1 @448Kbps!

A Cinema DTS track to sync to it would be perfect.

The German and Australian BD's for Grindhouse is DTS-MA 5.1

I got the German BD sitting in my collection

Of that, I am unsure.  If that is how it was during it's theatrical run than I would guess it should match since these are the cinema audio discs.
