Interesting you mentioned that; I felt the same way about it. However, that is one of the relatively rare spots in that segment where the music almost exactly matches the Stokowski recording. The only part where it is off is with the rubato near the clarinet bird calls. That I could fix, but I'm pretty sure Disney just dumped their digital tracks to the disc, and that they didn't rerecord them (though I could be wrong) but regardless I don't want to hack the audio up too much, as it wouldn't be truthful to the 1982 version. My feeling is that if it was out of sync in '82, it should be out of sync now. Apparently, one of the criticisms of the new soundtrack when it came out was the fact that there were a few parts that didn't sync perfectly.
