 (Edited)

Okay, I’m trying to find “The Original Vision” and I’m having trouble. I’m wary of eBay on this issue because the market’s been flooded with crap. Can anybody point me in the proper direction? Drop me an email, please, I don’t know if I can hit this board at work.

Dunno where to get it, but I just had to ask about the movie "Devotion" in your IMDb profile... how would I be able to see this? Available anywhere?

Sweet, DAYV. Now let's try not to turn this into a Dude, Where's My Car homage like DAYV's review thread, OK?

Princess Leia: I happen to like nice men.
Han Solo: I'm a nice man.

Off Topic: Why do some people add an extra O to the abbreviation for Original Trilogy like you did above? "OT" is Original Trilogy, but "O-OT?" I'm sure it'll seem obvious once you explain it. Thanks.

It looks better than DOT (Definitive Original Trilogy)? I don't know.

Princess Leia: I happen to like nice men.
Han Solo: I'm a nice man.

Well OT is used to refer to Original Trilogy (being ANH/ESB/ROTJ), right? Well, we have been using "O-OT" to refer to the Original Original Trilogy (the real 1977/80/83 versions). You also have the SE OT (or OT SE) and I'm not sure what we're using to refer to the DVD versions that came out this year (OT '04?).

Some of us may even be using it to stand for Official Original Trilogy with "official" being our own subjective way of viewing the original cuts.

I found New Original Trilogy to be quite effective in describing the 04 DVDs.

Acronym = The NOT.
"The people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country." - Goering.

"If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it." - Goebbels.

"In times of universal deceit, telling the truth becomes a revolutionary act." - Orwell.

Thanks Bossk. I've been referring to the 2004 DVD version as the "Bastardized Edition." I like the sound of it.
