Would anybody be interested in me doing an edit of Van Helsing? I’ve always thought it was a half decent movie, and had the potential to be a good movie. It just seems to me to be a little bloated and has a couple of lame moments/ideas. Maybe a trimmed down version with some of the offending parts removed would be more enjoyable. I mainly like the atmosphere in this movie, and would like to remove that moments that betray this atmosphere.
What about your Return of the Jedi edit?
Well, I AM working on it, really. It's just that nobody really seemed to be that interested in it so I stopped posting about it. (This is NOT a complaint or a request for attention in anyway. With other big projects going on I completely understand it being taken to the sidelines, no biggie)
But it is being done. When I have something significant to post about it I will.
Anyway...
If you can make Dracula less crappy, I'd be very interested in it.

You don't like dracula? I thought he was pretty well done, nice and eerie without (to me) seeming forced. Any particular specific complaints you'd like me to address? I really really love the atmosphere and overall feeling of this movie, it just has some flaws. It has a rating of 23% on rotten tomatoes, which I don't think it deserves NEARLY that low of a score.
On an almost related note, star trek nemesis has an abysmal score as well. I actually really like that film, with some minor quibbles.
Try to edit the film in the style of a horror film and not an action pop corn flick.

That would be very interesting, but I'm not sure if it could be done. The atmosphere is just so great in that movie that I feel like I have to save the overall experience SOMEHOW...
