Now that would be extremely hard to remove. I guess I'd need a perfect copy of that logo with a clean background to be able to do a test. Not sure it would look good anyway.

Alpha-blended logos like that one can be removed quite effectively (but never completely) - you just need to find a frame with the logo over a black screen for reference.
