I like it, but no. A limited release would be complicated since some fans would be left out. It should be OT for all, not some. Add in the fans that want both versions, or the completests that really don't care, and you could very well have no real fans of the O-OT getting a set. Maybe instead they could have a limited pre-order period. You're allowed to order a none cancelable O-OT set for a certain period of time. Then, Lucasfilm only has to press the number needed. I could see that working. The problem though is that the costs are in the restoration/authoring of the set. Manufactuering is cheap as hell.
