Damn, went to check out a couple of edits yesterday only to find that the fanedit.info resource has taken a hit of some sort...
I have absolutely no interest in seeing any of The Hobbit films. This will be unlikely to change even if I do end up reading the book someday.
You're missing next to nothing.

Hopefully a new source will take its place.

I beg to differ. I, objectively, think they're better than any of the three LotR films.
A picture is worth a thousand words. Post 102 is worth more.
I’m late to the party, but I think this is the best song. Enjoy!

Oooh... let the argument begin!
I’m just here because I’m driving tonight.

ROTJ is your favorite OT film. Of course the Hobbit trilogy would appeal to you more over LOTR.

They have their similarities. In both the personal idiosyncrasies of each director appear (slapstick, etc.).
They also share the same problem of having a huge reputation preceding them. Of course, they might have done pretty badly had they not had two very popular brand names attached to them.

Completely random thought; James Horner repeats himself a lot.
I've noticed this while watching films with score by him. His Aliens score has the Klingon theme from Star Trek III in there, and his Apollo 13 score just sounds like an amalgamation of all his previous scores. Titanic is one musical theme repeated over and over ad-nauseum.
Rest assured, I mainly only like his two Star Trek scores, as they're both very different from each other in terms of themes.
Of course, Leonard Rosenman was prone to this as well (He used the same theme for the apes in Beneath the Planet of the Apes and for the wraiths in The Lord of the Rings.)

Listen to his early work on Battle Beyond The Stars sometime. ;)
Where were you in '77?

I don't want to argue, but please tell me what you're implying and be as explicit as possible.

I wonder if copyright laws would apply to films made in alternate universes.

Anyways, so recently I came across this free coupon code for a Japanese course on udemy. Then I found another free coupon code for another course. Then another and long story short I've now got 90 courses tied to my account because it was temporarily addictive to just add more to it 'cause free coupon or it was free....
This is the account by the way.
A lot of it I just signed up for because free coupon!
Edit Oh yeah I got followers there for some reason too...
Is that a "tea bagging" video? Wrong thread?
;)
I wish Heather Langenkamp's filmography was larger/richer.

^Two minutes in, and I shut it off. I've got better things to do with my time than listen to a bunch of obnoxious douchebags piss and moan over a movie for an hour and a half.
Piss and moan? They're hilarious. I think you're just offended because they don't think Heather is the best actress ever. Either that or you're offended that they don't think it's the greatest movie ever.
I don't mind if someone wants to poke fun at something I like -- hell, I've done it myself. But crass, mean-spirited humour is not my scene.
Like, how sad/or good, is that how some like to hang out here at that exact moment the birth of the new year happens?
^Who cares? The universe creeps closer to heat death regardless.
