I really can't help but to wonder at how the EU would have developed had the PT never been made. There certainly wouldn't be this one-track fixation on the Sith at any rate.

I agree. I'd love to learn about the Pius Dea crusades, the Alsakan conflicts, the Hutt Empire, etc.
