Good :) I'm so glad to hear that. That's cool that your dad owns a set. I don't even own a real one. I had to make a cheesy set on my own in order to play.

I should also say that you are not a bad shogi player. At least, you're not much worse than I am. I'm not particularly good either, but I've got a little more experience behind me. But often you detected my plans and prevented them before I could even try to pull them off. You've done quite well from my point of view :)

Too bad I forgot to mention that I wanted to promote my rook after that last move. Oh well. I'll have to do it next opportunity.

Just so others know what's going on, I gained Ric's bishop earlier, then traded it for his rook. I then dropped his rook in the back ranks, which has allowed me to really infiltrate his position and take more pieces, which then become part of my arsenal.

Out of curiosity for the rest of the folks here, does anyone else check this thread? Is anyone else even interested in this game? Or are my pictures unnecessary?
