I used DVDSanta for the Balance XviD and that's what squished it, since it doesn't stretch the video to proper 16:9 it just leaves it and adds black bars on the top and bottom. Which is fine except that the XviD was squished into 45:22 (2.05:1) when it should have been 16:9 (1.77:1). As long as yours is either true 4:3 (1.33:1) or 16:9 (1.77:1 or 1.78:1, I don't remember and I dont think that matters as much), I'll be okay.
