You know you have a good point there bingo but it does not stop Vader looking stupid even if he fell off intentionally. And the whole pain sound effect that vader is apparently experiencing should not be present. At least this is how I am reading Ady from his comments.

I will never suggest a cut to empire strikes back in a lighthearted manner but i am targetting for termination in the scene prior luke swinging his lightsabre away so we have the impression of a clash at the edge and vader gets pushed off with some chane of Lukes lightsabre in the fall scene and it might be creepy to just hear him breathe before he falls feeding in to what you are saying there Bingo. Like he is luring him but much more deviously and less stupid.

I also really don't like the ompf sound but the arrgh is tolerable i think it would make more sense in the hose in the face scene if that is possible.
