It's worth noting that it's Interplay in name only. It's a pet peeve of mine.
Basically both sides are losing here (Herve and Bethesda) so it's definitely a worthy cause and I recommend everyone to take part.

It's free, unless you count the time. You get two good games (possibly two of the best crpgs out there, if not the best crpgs out there) and piece of crap in exchange so it's still worth it overall.
They're also 100% DRM free.
As they've always been, though I'm not entirely sure about F:T. That one was "protected" by a simple cd-check, I think.
