Reading Rinzler's "Making of Return of the Jedi" book, page 299 leads me to believe there maybe an aspect which could have been redone in 1997, 2004 or 2011 which I know i've glossed over and that are Endor Ground Battle composite shots. Anything with a walking AT-ST or speeder bike and some typically foreground live action element. The pg.299 matte painting and final composite are pretty seamless, because the compositing plays into the jagged edge of the forest leaves. As they've redone other composite work, this maybe an area to re-investigate. I don't see any similar shot in 005's guide so far.
