Wish there was though.

For the Supplemental DVD torrent go to www.torrentbox.com I think they still have it.

www.torrentbox.com is down, maybe for good.......this sucks as they had some really great stuff. Maybe our ole fanboy "GL" used his ass-e-nine mind tricks and got them to go the "ultimate edition that really makes no sense and wastes others creative visions" side........

My mistake, looks like it's up and runnin again......sorry

Just a heads up, I used DVD Santa to encode the xvid of Balance of the Force to burn onto a DVD-R and it was as good as the source. My Dolby 5.1 picked up the Digital track so it looks like it grabbed the audio well. Check it out if you are going to convert the xvid's to DVD-R.

And it doesn't look squished to you? At all? Mine sure does...

Besides, it doesn't rewind or fast-forward at all for me, and it doesn't play on my Toshiba in my room ,just the Sony in the living room, the PC, and the PS2 in the basement.

That's it; Rikter (aka Blacksvn) put them up.

If you don't want the 5-second gap in Empire, go to this site one of our own put up to help out. I myself own the Dr. Gonzo versions I downloaded and I'm waiting for MeBeJedi to be done with his to replace them.

Could someone please post a link to all the edits of Episode I with a little info about the differences. I tried looking around but the thread are so long now and the version I did get isn't finding anyone.

ANH will be done in 5 hours, 15 minutes, and 30 seconds, and all three films should be done in 28 days, 6 hours, 42 minutes, and 12 seconds.

I'll be mailing it tomorrow to Rik to put on BitTorrents.

Not sure as to why I was quoted as saying that this late in September, as that was said well before Rikter created torrents of the TR47 set.

Sweetness! I think I may have found a way to make my DVDSanta files playable on my Toshiba...anyone know where to find a torrent of the TMPGEnc Sound Plug-in AC3? (edit: ah, I seem to have found one...)

Oh, and to MagnoliaFan (I'll probably post this somewhere else too) - what are the timecodes of your chapter stops on your DVD for Balance of the Force?

STAR WARS: A New Hope

"A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away..."

These famous words set the tone for what has become one of the most successful
movies ever made: Star Wars is the epic story of Princess Leia Organa (Carrie
Fisher), leader of the Rebel forces fighting against the all-powerful, evil
Empire. The Princess is captured by the villainous Darth Vader (David Prowse &
James Earl Jones), the Dark Lord of the Sith and right hand man of the Galactic
Emperor. Before she is captured, Princess Leia sends her faithful droid, R2-D2,
accompanied by C-3PO, into space to search for a man named Obi-Wan Kenobi (Alec
Guinness), to enlist his aid in helping the Rebel Alliance. After landing on the
planet Tatooine, the droids are captured by a band of scrap-collecting Jawas who
sell them to moisture farmer Owen Lars and his nephew, Luke Skywalker (Mark
Hamill). As Luke is repairing R2-D2, the droid emits a holographic message from
the lovely Princess Leia, a message which intrigues young Skywalker, who yearns
for adventure. When R2-D2 runs away to carry out his mission, Luke and C-3PO
pursue the little droid and encounter the mysterious Obi-Wan (Ben) Kenobi.

Meanwhile Darth Vader and his Imperial Forces are searching for R2-D2 and the
data tapes containing the Rebel plans. The droids are traced to Uncle Owen's
home and, when Luke returns there, he finds that the Imperial troops have
murdered his family. Realizing that there is no longer any reason for him to
stay on Tatooine, he decides to go with Ben Kenobi to Alderaan. Ben, one of the
legendary Jedi Knights, begins to teach Luke the ways of the Force. To secure
their safe passage to Alderaan, Ben and Luke employ the services of dashing Han
Solo (Harrison Ford), captain of the Corellian ship, the Millennium Falcon, and
his Wookiee co-pilot, Chewbacca.

Adventure follows adventure as Luke, Ben Kenobi, Han, Chewbacca and the droids
pursue Darth Vader and the Imperial Forces into the far reaches of the galaxy in
their attempt to rescue the Princess. Lightsaber battles, hair-raising escapes,
and spectacular space battles set the stage for one of the most exciting movies
ever: Star Wars.

Question about the ISOMIX:

I didn´t really catch that:

Is there only an ISOMIX for New Hope now? Or are there also mixes for Empire and Jedi??
If there are: will you offer them as torrent too??

Thx from Germany

Is this Leia welding scene everyone is talking about the one in the Falcon just before her and Han kiss on the asteroid? If so it is on all versions I have, the Faces Laser Disc & VHS, The SE DVD(5 Star 1997), the 2004 DVDs and DVDRs of the Definitive Collection. If its not which scene is it?

So where does the video from the ISOmix come from? A preexisting rip? TR or Gonzo? Or a completely new one?

How is the audio quality on the isolated score? Because basically that's the one thing I'm really interested in.

And Rikter, next time you need to host some images, use Imageshack.us!

Some of the earlier versions of the Definitive LaserDisc did not include the Leia "welding" scene. If you bought the discs at the time of release you could send them back to the manufacture for replacements... otherwise, the discs were reissued with scene added back in... consequently the scene is in tact on the "Faces" version as well.

If I had made some LD transfers myself, I'd say that IMHO it's really stupid to use 448 kbps for the two-channel audio tracks, where much less would have sufficed - and there's *two* of these tracks in the ISOMIX version!

Then again, I don't do LD rips so I'll just shut up

it is kinda overkill.

Hey guys - This is a series of RIPS that were mailed to me by another fan that also loves STAR WARS.

I will not give out any information on the creator so let's just call "Him" ISOMIX unless he chimes in and offers up his information

I will be posting all 3 movies and I really no longer have the time to post reviews or screen captures - I WILL try to get some up
