Favourite non Star Wars roles for Star Wars actors

All the actors in the series maintain that they are more than just their Star Wars characters.

Well what other non Star Wars films have you enjoyed these actors in?

Here's mine.

Mark Hamill is fantastic as The Joker in "The Batman Animated Series" but especially in the "Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker" movie.

Harrison Ford naturally as Indiana Jones in "Raiders of the Lost Ark".

Carrie Fisher is hilarious as the Mystery Woman in "The Blues Brothers".

Alec Guinness is also hilarious as Jamesir Bensonmum the blind butler in "Murder By Death". This film is worth seeing alone for James Coco's amazing and piss-yerself-funny performance. ("And where is the waiter... with our dinner?!?")

Kenny Baker as Fidgit in "Time Bandits".

David Prowse in the original "Callan" film as the heavy Arthur aka The Neutralizer. He doesn't last too long.

James Earl Jones has always been one of my favourite actors and here are just a few of my favourite performances from him.
Jack Johnson in "The Great White Hope". Great film.
Joshua Burke in the classic "A Piece of the Action".
And of course as Mufasa in "The Lion King". Ooh say it again.. Mmuu-ffaa-ssaa...

Billy Dee Williams as Detective Sergeant Matthew Fox in "Nighthawks".

Frank Oz as the wonderfully deadpan Corrections Officer in "The Blues Brothers".
And of course as Bert and Cookie Monster in "Sesame Street".

Ian McDiarmid has a great understated comedic performance as Arthur the butler in "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels".

And let's not limit ourselves to merely the actors I also enjoyed Irvin Kershner's direction on "RoboCop 2" and "Never Say Never Again".

Now it's your turn.
"The people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country." - Goering.

"If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it." - Goebbels.

"In times of universal deceit, telling the truth becomes a revolutionary act." - Orwell.

Agreed on all counts, but how can you forget James Earl Jones in "Field of Dreams"?

As for Harrison Ford, I would also have to add the Jack Ryan series, particularly "Clear and Present Danger."

If we are allowed to mention PT actors, I would like to mention Ewan McGregor (oh how I adore him!) in "Moulin Rouge" and "Big Fish." And let's not forget Liam Neeson in "Schindler's List." While I am going on about the Prequel folks, let's add Samuel L. Jackson-- everything he does is magic.

How about Alec Guinness in the original Ladykillers?
"You fell victim to one of the classic blunders, the most famous of which is 'Never get involved in a land war in Asia'."
