Well, assuming the other transfer is similar to mine, bit rates of 3.8 and 8 are going to look pretty good. I'm currently using 2.7 and 7. That being said, I'm expecting delivery of a better encoder with 9-pass encoding. That is going to ROCK!

Okay, now I get what you are talking about. I forgot that the -R camp was late getting their product out.
That being said, I've heard here and there that the Sony DL burner has an excellent level of compatibility with current DVD players. Anyone know of a site that discusses this in more detail?
