You will see that this matches the previously posted screenshots.

That's more like it. The remaining dirt and shakiness does distract a bit, but you can still tell that the colours are great. Seems to me compression IS a factor in comparing stills & video.

 

Less green, a bit brighter, cleanup/stabilize, and ship it! :)

This is not a very good sample. There is a lot of warping, and errors throughout the entire clip. Did you miss all the dirt and scratches (in green) on the right hand side. This is not stabilized either. This is not even at a beta stage for viewing. Basically it's a color correction test, that is all.

The distraction is quite a lot to us, which is why we wouldn't use this footage, and a lot more that is similar to this. It just doesn't meet our standards.

As you pointed out all of these things, it's not worth the effort to do that for this clip and footage like it. That would be even more time consuming.

All this footage (unless there is no damage on the frame), will be replaced with better frames from the superior prints.
