Remember when -1 said he sold off all the SW prints?
Apparently neither does the Team. I'm starting to think we're really being had, here. Pretty sure if it weren't for the fact that their project could be the end-all-be-all of public preservation efforts, they'd have been banned long ago.

The blog. I may be incorrect about all of them, but he listed at least one of them for sale and then told us it sold.
These rescans lead me to believe either this is not the case, or the buyer joined the Team.

My inside source says that a new better condition 35mm print has been acquired.

Meh. I'm more excited for the 2K Super8 scans I'm getting from poita.
(The Super8 grain makes the trilogy look more otherworldly than it already does, so I'd actually prefer to have a Super8 trilogy preservation over a 35mm trilogy preservation.)
Why not just unsubscribe from the -1 threads?

Guess I find the lulz too much to pass up.
Also, I can't wait to see what you do with those Super8 scans either AntcuFaalb. Super8 may be a little grainy for my taste, but I can't deny the preview clips I saw wowed me with their color.
